In addition, we have worked with several historic district commissions and can help guide you through the historic area work permit process to ensure that the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation are met. This is an integrated approach that incorporates your remodeling objectives with the architecture of your home and neighborhood. Depending on location, type of property (income producing or residential) and type of rehabilitation made, we will inform you of any applicable federal or state income tax credits or of any grants that may be available.
Our design team also monitors and tracks current federal, state, and local incentives, tax credits or grants that may be available for energy efficiency improvements in your home. We will provide you with prioritized cost-effective recommendations for air sealing, insulation, HVAC upgrades and any other improvements that have incentives tied to them. Several utilities also offer rebates for purchase of energy saving appliances or home improvements, and we will be sure to advise you of their availability.
